In accordance with our commitment to reduce the environmental impacts related to the domestic and international trading activities of steel products, MISA is committed to the following:

Prevention of pollution:

MISA is committed to preventing pollution associated with our activities, products and services.

1. Business activities shall consider the ability to reduce the environmental impacts of the commodities being handled in order to prevent pollution;
2. The environmental effects of investment, finance and development projects shall be assessed and considered in advance in order to anticipate and complete the necessary planning.

Compliance with environmental laws, regulations and other requirements:

MISA is committed to complying with international laws, federal, state and local regulatory requirements and the other environmental requirements related to the environmental aspects of our activities, products and services.

Continual improvement:

MISA is committed to continually improving our environmental performance by using our EMS as the framework for establishing environmental objectives and targets. Our objectives shall include but not be limited to:

1. The effective use of resources and energy in order to contribute to the realization of a sustainable economic society;
2. In the office, efforts to conserve energy and resources and reduce waste shall be positively promoted.

Promoting environmental awareness and communication:

MISA is committed to making all of our employees aware of their role in supporting the EMS and in protecting the environment of the local communities within which they work.

MISA encourages communication to and from our employees and those working on our behalf.

This policy is communicated to all employees and persons working on behalf of MISA. The policy shall be available to the public.
